Scan

Find what’s exposed — and fix it.

A scan reads your email, cloud drives and this computer on your own machine. It finds the tax returns, IDs, passwords and old shared links left unprotected, ranks what matters, and gives you a safe next step for each.

The problem, in real life

Four simple questions your accounts don’t answer.

A decade of digital life leaves sensitive things everywhere. Haven turns the mess into one clear list.

01

What sensitive data do I have?

Tax returns, passport scans, health records, passwords, API keys — including the things you forgot were there.

02

Where does it live?

In an old email attachment, a cloud-drive folder, a screenshot archive, or somewhere on this computer.

03

Who can still see it?

A former coworker, an old vendor, someone you once shared a folder with, or anyone who still has the link.

04

What should I do?

Haven ranks what matters, explains why, and gives you a safe next step — with undo when the source supports it.

How a scan works

Install. Choose what to scan. Clean it up.

No security training required. Haven does the searching on your computer and turns what it finds into plain-English actions.

Step 01

Install Haven

Download the app for Windows or Mac, paste your beta code, and launch it from your computer like any other app.

Step 02

Choose where to look

Connect your email and cloud drives, then choose folders on this computer. Your sign-in credentials stay in your system keychain.

Step 03

Review and fix

See the riskiest items first. Revoke a stale share, archive an old message, or move a password to your manager — then undo supported actions for 30 days.

What Haven finds

The quiet risks hiding in ordinary places.

Haven doesn’t just count files. It shows what the item is, where it lives, who can reach it, and why it deserves attention.

After your first scan

Ask a question of what it found.

Ask Haven · beta

Ask a plain-English question about what was found.

“Where have I shared my passport?” or “Which old passwords are still exposed?” Haven searches the findings already stored on your computer.

Your question and the answer stay on this computer.
What stays on this computer

Private by architecture.

Your computer does the everyday work. Haven is designed so your full inbox, drive, files, and findings don’t become another cloud database waiting to be breached. How Haven handles your data →

On your computer

The readable, personal parts

  • Full files and messages are read and indexed locally.
  • Your findings stay in an encrypted local store.
  • OAuth credentials stay in your operating system’s keychain.
  • Most classification runs directly on your device.
When a hard case needs more compute

A narrow, visible exception

No full file is sent. Harder checks run on your own GPU when supported. If your hardware can’t run them locally, Haven’s own cloud GPU may receive one bounded, redacted excerpt of no more than 2 KB — never the full file or message thread.
Network Activity lists the destination, type, timing, and size of every outbound request.
